Vertebroplasty

Vertebroplasty is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat spinal fractures caused by osteoporosis or cancer. It involves injecting bone cement into the vertebrae to stabilize fractures, and results in significant pain relief and improved mobility in many patients. Although uncommon, risks include infection, bleeding, numbness or tingling in the arms or legs, or increased pain.
