Marco Araujo, M.D.
Dr. Araujo was recognized as an original thinker during his medical studies at Harvard, where he was elected Harvard resident scholar for his achievements at the Harvard Pain Research Center. But his most recent endeavors go above and beyond helping patients with painful conditions—he has his sights set on helping the nation. Recently, he has spent time developing a new plan for a national health care program. His innovative health care reform initiative was recently presented to the President of the United States as a ground-breaking amendment to the current health care plan. He has proven that helping patients is not inclusive to one’s practice, but rather, should extend to all of those who need care. He embodies Advanced Pain Managements initiative to educate the public about healthcare so they are empowered to make informed decisions about their own care.
